Immunity is the body's ability to protect its integrity from foreign substances. We can use this definition not only when we talk about physical health, but also mental. Psychological immunity is an opportunity to resist and manage stress and anxiety safely.

Nowadays we have a lot of reasons to feel pressure and stress. So it is very important to know how you can help yourself.  On this occasion, we share 3 tips on how to strengthen your mental immunity according to Reminder and the concept of Professor Andy Norman:

1. Be prepared that there will always be stress and worries.

It is impossible to eliminate annoying factors from your life, but you can learn how to cope with them. A person with a stable mental state knows how to recognize his emotions and knows how to bring himself to a calm state.

2. Learn how to control your thoughts

Our brain can easily make a mountain out of a molehill and turn a small fear into a worldwide problem. In order not to fall into this trap, try to track your thoughts and, if there is any negative, do not exaggerate it, but approach the question more rationally:

— What can I do with it?

— How can I change the situation?

— How can I take care of myself and my mental health?

3. Minimize sources of stress

Reduce the sources of stress that are within your control. Yes, it will not be possible to exclude them 100% (check point 1 out), but it is possible to reduce them. During the period of colds, we won't go out and hang out in the crowds, so the same with mental health — you should limit communication with those who make you worry or doubt too much, and stop scrolling news every second (10 minutes a day are definitely enough).

Start using these tips and you will see that you are getting more resistant to stress. And if you feel that you can't cope on your own, don't be afraid of asking for help and going to a psychologist.
